It’s Summer Reading Time! The Library is encouraging everyone to sign up for summer reading on Beanstack! Beanstack is a website/app where you can keep track of your daily reading and participate in fun activities all year long. Our community goal is to reach 1000 days of reading!

Are you buying eBooks and eAudio books? The library has not one but TWO reading apps for library card holders to access FREE eBooks and eAudio books. There are thousands of materials to choose from. Over the next year, we will be working to build our eCollections with new, popular, diverse, and classic titles. Try Libby and Boundless.

NOTES FROM THE FRIENDS

Happy Summer and happy reading! First, I would like to thank all of you that supported our recent fundraisers - the coupon books, the Spring Book Sale, and our current fundraiser, Nothing Bundt Cakes. Please remember to pick up your vouchers on May 30 for the Nothing Bundt Cakes - they must be redeemed by August 30, 2024. Also, big thank you to everyone who helped coordinate these fundraisers and those who worked the Spring Book Sale!

We hope to see you on May 30 at the kickoff for the SUMMER READING PROGRAM at Runner's Park! You can sign up for summer reading and also sign up to be a FRIEND! What a wonderful way to support your library. If you are a FRIEND, you are welcome at our monthly meetings. Please remember we do not meet in June, August, or December. Our next meeting is July 18 at 10am.

Please mark your calendars for our QUARTERMANIA on September 28. Our first one was a success and lots of fun!
