Conscious Discipline PD Day Opportunities

You may be aware of the Conscious Discipline Communities of Practice we offer throughout the year. due to the popularity and impact of these sessions, we are taking the opportunity a step further! We are excited to announce that we will be hosting Master Trainers from Conscious Discipline for an in-person PD opportunity in each region (8, 9, & 10)!

**Please note - registration is limited to programs in ELRCs 8, 9, & 10 only.**

Upcoming CDA Support Sessions

Tuesday, June 11 @ 1:30 pm or Thursday, June 20 @ 6:30 pm

The ELRC is please to offer CDA Support Sessions this June. Representatives from the PDO, Karen Zakin and Ruben Ransom, along with Quality Coaches will be present to help CDA candidates with portfolio set up and maintenance, along with initial and renewal application support. CDA candidates are encourages to attend these sessions with questions and be prepared to use the time working on completing CDA steps.

Play Inclusion Toolkit

Playing outdoors with other children is deeply healthy for all children, but far too many children miss out on free play because our parks and playgrounds are unwelcoming and inaccessible to children with disabilities. This Play Inclusion Toolkit from Seattle Play Garden offers strategies for creating "yes" environments so that all children can engage in meaningful outdoor play.

Path of Least Resistance

Learn about strategies to find paths of least resistance for recurring challenges - material storage, reducing line leader fights, signing in for the day, reducing wait time and bottlenecks, and clean up after messy play.
