This summer we are going to experiment with something we have never done before. We are going to offer our incredible training programs for the lowest rates we have ever offered.
Starting July 1st, you can enroll in Small Group Personal Training, Large Group Personal Training, or Boot Camp by simply upgrading your membership type. All you have to do is pay the difference in monthly dues from the rates below and what you are currently paying and YOU'RE IN!!!! Here are the details:
Large Group Personal Training
($59 a month)-LG training is a metabolic based training session that will include 10-12 other clients. The protocol is choreographed for consistency and changes every two weeks. This will give you the opportunity to master the moves without getting bored of "the same ole' routine." There are 9 classes you can take during the week so we will always have a class for you. The class outline is as follows:
7-12 min Active Dynamic Warm Up
12-20 min Metabolic Based Workout
2-5 Balance/Core/Stability

Small Group Personal Training
($89 a month)- SG training is a strength based training session that will include 4-6 other clients. The workout changes every class and will teach the "ins and outs" of how many sets to do, how many reps, how to choose weights, and create your own weight training routines. There are 9 classes available per week. The class outline is as follows:

As an added BONUS, if you have a SMALL GROUP membership, you also get to take all of the LARGE GROUP classes. That's 18 training sessions per week!!!
ELITE BOOT CAMPS!!
($99 a month)-
Boot Camp is everything you have come to love for the past 3 years. Boot Camp is a metabolic increasing program that meets 4 times per week at 4 different time slots. In addition to great circuit style workouts you will also receive a 68 page manual that teaches you stretching, nutrition, fitness education, and weekly food logs. Boot Camp also includes the accountability you need, in a "positive peer pressure" environment to to make sure you succeed.
As an added BONUS, if you have an ELITE BOOT CAMP membership, you also get to take all of the LARGE GROUP AND SMALL GROUP classes. That's 26 training sessions per week!!!

20 Things with 20 grams of Protein
Lets face it; counting calories stinks sometimes, doesn't it? It also happens to be one of the things that gives people a hard time when it comes to losing weight. If you hate counting calories, I have a simple tip that has been giving people some incredible success.
Instead of counting calories, keep track of your protein grams each day. Your goal is to eat 20 grams of protein, 6 times a day. That's it. Of course, it's easier said than done, but if you can do it, you could see some tremendous results.
There is nothing magic about the protein, and it is no where near a "high protein" diet. I stumbled upon this tip while examining my boot campers food logs. I noticed that almost all of them were getting about 70-80% of their calories from carbohydrates. That is not huge surprise since 85% of what you would buy at the grocery store is a carbohydrate. Next time you are in the grocery store, see how many inexpensive and convenient forms of protein you can find. Then compare it to the PLETHORA (say it with an "EL GUAPO" accent from the three amigos) of carbohydrate choices you have.
Most of the time my clients were able to lose weight simply because they increased their protein intake to where it should have been all along. I made this little list of 20 things with 20 grams of protein to help you get started. If you need any additional help as always, you can EMAIL ME or stop by my desk and bug me.
1. 3 ounces of chicken
2. 3 ounces of red meat
3. 3/4 cup of 1% Cottage Cheese
4. 4 eggs (24 grams)
5. 1 1/2 Ostrich Meat sticks (sold at the gym)
6. 1 serving of dotfit shake mix (sold at the gym)
7. 2 1/2 cups of milk
8. 2 Apex Cookies (sold at the gym
9. 2 1/2 ounces of ground turkey
10. 3 ounces 95% lean ground beef
11. 1 Applegate Farms Organic Beef Burger
12. 3 ounces Ham
13. 1 cup Greek Yogurt (blech...)
14. 2.8 ounces of tuna fish
15. 2.5 ounces of pork
16. 2 ounces of bacon
17. 1 1/3 cups of pinto beans (less ideal source for protein but still an option)
18. 5 tablespoons peanut butter (watch your fat intake)
19. 3 ounces of most common fish
20. 3.2 ounces of almonds (Be careful, this also has 500 calories!)
21. 2 1/3 cups of Quinoa
22. 2 cups of kefir drinks from organic whole milk source (loaded with probiotics too!)
