Dear Gate City Members,

 

Thank you to those who have been able to serve in years past as Election Protection volunteers.  We invite you again and those who have not served before to volunteer to protect voting rights and help ensure the integrity of the electoral process.  Election Protection is the nation's largest non-partisan voter protection coalition and the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, and its coalition partners, coordinate this national pro bono initiative with the help of volunteers, bar associations, law firms, corporate legal departments and many others. 

 

For the coming election on November 4, 2014, volunteers are needed.  This is an opportunity for worthwhile pro bono work (CLE pending) in a very discrete period of time.  Volunteers are required to attend a training session and volunteer on election day.  Additional training details are located below. In order to volunteer you must access the following link: http://volunteer.866ourvote.org, click on "view volunteer opportunities for lawyers," fill out the sign up form and choose a shift and training time.
