Let the Purim Festivities Begin!

Holiday Reminders


Megilla: You must hear Megilla on Saturday night, March 23rd and on Sunday Morning, March 24th. *Once Shabbat ends say Barukh HaMabdil Beyn Kodesh LeHol before coming to the Synagogue for Megilla.


Matanot LaEbyonim: You must give one gift to two different poor persons. This can be done with money in lieu of gifts at the synagogue through Sunday morning. The money will be distributed by the synagogue on Purim day.


Mishloah Manot: You must give at least one gift with two varieties of food to at least one friend.


Seúdat Purim: There is an obligation to have a feast during the day of Purim (not at night), Sunday, March 24th.


Zaykher LeMahasit HaShekel: It is an obligation for males 20 years of age and older to give three silver half dollars to charity. This can be done at the synagogue through Sunday morning.

We're teaming up with The SAM School for this year's Family Purim event! Get all of your little ones into their costumes for a fun Purim morning. Join us at 10:30am for a special Family Megilla reading with Hazan Uriel Suliman, followed by an interactive Mad Science Show filled with explosive experiments and hands on activities!
