Dear EFC Families,
We are writing to share with the EFC community that my sister Alli Zomer, co-owner with me of Especially for Children, passed away on Wednesday, July 3. We are heartbroken about our loss of this sister, daughter, mother, colleague, and friend. We are also profoundly grateful for her life.
Alli was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018. She lived a full, dynamic, and vibrant life both before and after her diagnosis. She was passionate about children and families. As a leader at EFC, she cared deeply about the people who make it what it is.
There is so much more to say about Alli, and we will share her obituary when it is published. We do have an important update for EFC families as Alli's Memorial Service will take place on Friday, July 19, and we will be closing the centers that day at 12:30 p.m. so that our directors and teaching staff are able to attend.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding of this as it is important to us, and was to Alli, that those close to her at EFC are able to participate in this event that honors who Alli was in our lives.
Thank you for your support of EFC and of our family.
Sincerely,
Angie Williams
