EEOC Updated Guidance: What You Should Know About COVID-19 and the ADA, the Rehabilitation Act, and Other EEO Laws
APRIL 10, 2020 - The updated EEOC guidance, released yesterday provides helpful information concerning the ADA and EEO laws governing employees. This guidance could also be helpful with respect to IC caregivers.
 
Registries should consider obtaining a statement of assumed risk from clients and caregivers regarding COVID-19 and to obtain some form of confirmation from clients seeking caregiver referrals, and from caregivers seeking client referrals, that they are not experiencing any of the CDC-identified COVID-19 symptoms.
