ECMPS 2.0 Beta will be going offline for several weeks starting Monday, June 3, 2024.
Why is ECMPS 2.0 Beta going offline? EPA is working with the CDX team to update the login service and implement Multifactor Authentication for ECMPS 2.0 Beta and CBS Beta. This time will be utilized by EPA for internal testing of the login, roles, and responsibilities functionality.
How will this impact my existing Beta user account? For current Beta users, your existing CBS Agent relationships will remain the same. Once the login change is implemented and available, users will be prompted to migrate their user account in the Login.gov test environment.
After the login change is implemented, how do I update Agent relationships for existing Beta user accounts? After the login change is implemented and available, CBS Agent relationships will require the Designated Representative (DR)/Alternate Designated Representative (ADR) and the Agent to have the same CDX Organization ID. Once the CDX Organization IDs match, the appropriate CBS Agent relationships can be updated.
Where can I find the instructions for becoming a new Beta user? EPA is updating the CDX-CBS-ECMPS Beta Start-up Guide to detail the steps to set up a Beta user account and obtain the appropriate roles and responsibilities.
How will I know ECMPS Beta is back online? EPA will send a newsletter notifying Beta users when the ECMPS Beta is online and available for testing.
