Singing Auditions for The Anglican Singers, New London

The Anglican Singers, Artists-in-Residence at historic St. James Episcopal Church, New London, CT, welcome interested singers to audition to join us.

The Anglican Singers is an independently organized performing arts organization dedicated to perpetuating and presenting the English choral tradition as found in the Anglican service of Choral Evensong. No affiliation with any church is required for membership.

Rehearsals are each Tuesday evening from September through May at 7:00 - 8:30 pm. We present Evensong monthly at St. James and additional venues in Connecticut during each season, as well as an Advent Lessons & Carols service and a holiday concert.

Every other year, we visit the UK for a week-long choir residency; in the summer of 2025, we will visit Worcester Cathedral (travel dates: July 19 – July 27). In addition to singing daily Evensong and a Sunday morning Eucharist, we enjoy close-knit camaraderie and wonderfully planned excursions.

More information, including our repertoire, at our home page: https://www.anglicansingers.org
