Findings in the Archives: Conserving a 1924 Letter of Patent & Diocesan Shield

We want to formally invite you on a historic journey! Follow along with ECCT Archivist Greg Farr, for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the preservation of a priceless artifact—the 1924 Letter of Patent of the ECCT Diocesan Coat of Arms!

It all started when our Diocesan Archivist, Greg Farr, found a Letter of Patent & Diocesan shield from 1924 in the ECCT archive. The piece needed preservation/conservation and Greg Farr has written a three-part blog examining the process. We encourage all to read along and learn more about this monumental effort which is part of our collective Episcopalian history!
