EACC BUSINESS DELEGATION TRIP TO EUROPE JUNE 9-15 | |

2 countries, 3 cities, planes, trains, minivans, water taxis and automobiles... it was an intense week for our EU Trip participants. We learned about the Netherlands' key focus points, which were consistent across all 3 cities we visited. We saw German determination and engineering in action, as well as some nightlife. We learned about German traffic rules, experienced a university cafeteria, enjoyed diverse and delicious meals and wines, and so much more! As they say, if you want to really get to know someone, play poker with them, drink with them or travel with them!

AI-Enabled ICT Workforce Consortium Expands to G7 Countries
Catalyzed by the U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council’s (TTC) Talent for Growth Task Force, led by CISCO and informed by input from the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Consortium is a private sector collaboration focused on exploring AI’s impact on ICT job roles and enabling workers to find and access relevant training programs.

Informal EU-US dialogue on the climate and security nexus
Representatives of the European Commission services, the European External Action Service (EEAS), and the European Defence Agency (EDA) met today with their US Administration counterparts from i.a. the Department of State, the Department of Defense, the National Security Council, and USAID at Directors’ level to discuss the increasing challenges posed by climate change and environmental degradation to peace, security and defence.
