SerbFest 2019 Sponsorship
|
|
The festival is a family event that will be held on September 21st & 22nd.
The festivities include live music, ethnic homemade foods and several folk dancing troupes from the U.S. and Canada.
Also this is an opportunity for all to take part in a traditional and quite popular large dancing party.
In addition, we have fun activities for children, and stands with souvenirs, books and arts and crafts for sale.
The SerbFest is organized and staffed by an army of volunteers. Admission is FREE; however we also rely on contributions from our generous donors and sponsors.
Thanks to the last year`s sponsors we were able to cover, among the other things, the cost of food and drink to families who would otherwise not have the financial means to do so.
We kindly ask you to look into various sponsorship options for SerbFest 2019.
We have private and corporate sponsorship options.
Deadline for private and corporate sponsorship submission is SEPTEMBER 1st, 2019.

Обраћамо вам се са апелом да се укључите у акцију прикупљања новчаних средстава за наш српски народ на Косову и Метохији. Недавно смо добили писмо нашег Епископа Иринеја са молбом да све наше парохије узму учешћа у овој акцији коју води Рашко-призренска епархија.

An appeal for help Serbian People in
Kosovo and Metohija

We appeal to you to get involved in the fundraising campaign for our Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija. We have recently received a letter from our Bishop Irinej with a request that all our parishes take part in this campaign led by the Diocese of Raska-Prizren.

You can mail your donation to the church address (Check payable to St. Sava Cathedral with an indication for Kosovo and Metohija). Also, you can donate your contributions electronically on this link:

И кад дођоше к народу, приступи к Њему човек клањајући Му се, И говорећи: Господе! Помилуј сина мог; јер о мени бесни и мучи се врло; јер много пута пада у ватру, и много пута у воду. И доведох га ученицима Твојим, и не могоше га исцелити. А Исус одговарајући рече: О роде неверни и покварени! Докле ћу бити с вама? Докле ћу вас трпети? Доведите ми га амо. И запрети му Исус; и ђаво изиђе из њега, и оздрави момче од оног часа. Тада приступише ученици к Исусу и насамо рекоше Му: Зашто га ми не могасмо изгнати? А Исус рече им: За неверство ваше. Јер вам кажем заиста: ако имате вере колико зрно горушичино, рећи ћете гори овој: Пређи одавде тамо, и прећи ће, и ништа неће вам бити немогуће. А овај се род изгони само молитвом и постом. А кад су ходили по Галилеји, рече им Исус: Предаће се Син човечији у руке људске; И убиће Га, и трећи дан устаће. И невесели беху врло.

And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.” Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour. Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” Now while they were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him, and the third day He will be raised up.” And they were exceedingly sorrowful.
