On 3/28/2024, USCIS announced that it will be launching a pilot of E-Verify+ in 2024. USCIS states that E-Verify+ will streamline the Form I-9 and employment eligibility verification process.

E-Verify+ will introduce the following features:

• Allow employees to enter their own personal information and documents, which will provide them with more privacy, reduce data entry errors and improve efficiency for employers.
• Provide immediate notification if further action is needed and provide next steps. Employers will no longer have to deliver Further Action Notices to employees.
• Carry reverification status over to new employers.
