From the Pastor
As Christians, every Sunday we worship together is a celebration of salvation that was purchased for us through Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. But, I am so glad we have a designated holiday, Easter, that focuses our attention and thoughts on Jesus’ story of love and sacrifice.

As with most holidays, it is easy to get so caught up in the traditions and festivities that the true meaning becomes an afterthought, or completely forgotten. Please take time this Easter season to reflect on the biblical account of Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, the events of the Passion week, His Passover supper with His disciples, and the circumstances of His arrest, mock trial, scourging, and humiliation. Then think about His crucifixion, death, and burial. Finally, savor the account of His resurrection as you reflect on what all of this means for you personally. Use the traditions and festivities to tell His story to your children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren. Easter is all about remembering and celebrating. Do them with joy!

The following were elected Sunday as messengers representing RPBC at the Associational Spring Meeting this Thursday evening at Journey Fellowship Church (Hwy 11N, next to the county health department in Carriere). The meeting begins at 6:30pm. Even if you did not volunteer to go as a messenger, you may still attend – and I encourage you to do so! Our messengers are Dan & Janice Young, Brad & Lori Replogle, Austin Mason, Don & Robin Smith, John & Marcia Blackmon, Dinah Martin, Anita Kendrick, Gainer Hiers, and Dorothy Jacobs. Thank you to each of these!

He is Risen!
