Well, the committee reports have been approved, and the church voted Sunday to adopt the proposed budget for the new church year. Everything is in place for a normal church year – except we don’t have a normal church yet! That said, I want to thank you for your understanding and patience as we continue to make the best of our circumstances. Worship attendance and participation in our livestream services have been strong, and your faithfulness in giving tithes and offerings has been awesome. Please continue to pray that this pestilence will be lifted and that God will heal our land.

We are in the process of preparing a list of eligible men for your consideration in nominating men to serve as deacons in place of those who will be rotating off at the end of this calendar year. Men, I am asking that if you have prayed and know that you will decline to serve should you be nominated, please phone the church office and have your name removed from the list. The Deacons will approve the list on September 13^th, and the church will nominate candidates on October 4^th.
