Thank you, Woodridge Public Works!
We've officially experienced our first big snowstorm of the year! We would like to give a shout-out to our incredible employees who work hard to keep our Village streets safe and accessible for first responders, residents, and other motorists when a snowstorm hits. Thank you to everyone for their patience as our snow plow drivers worked to clear the streets and for giving the plows the space to do their job. Did you know that last year the amount of miles driven by Public Works snow plow drivers was almost equivalent to driving from Woodridge to Zurich, Switzerland (4,663 miles)? It's no easy job and we are thankful for our hard-working team!
Congratulations, Judy Hansen!
Congratulations to Public Works Administrative Assistant, Judy Hansen! She retired from the Village of Woodridge on Friday, January 12 after 27 years of service to our community! Thank you, Judy! We wish you a very happy and healthy retirement.
