TRINITY UPDATES

The Trinity Lutheran Church Self-Study Report is complete, and MSP is live!

This report is a comprehensive document prepared by the transition team which assessed and evaluated our progress, capabilities, and potential as a ministry. It also summarizes data collected from the survey that was completed this winter. Click the document to read!

Additionally, our Mission Site Profile is live for applicants to view!

It's hard to believe, but we only have 4 Family Faith Night Meals left for the academic year! Renell and Samantha are seeking out families to host these last few dinners. As a reminder, a Children's Ministry Grant is supporting the cost of each meal this year, up to $250 each. If you can sign up for a Wednesday night, please email or talk to Samantha Johnson.

Dates: April 17th & 24th; May 1st & 8th

Trinity is accessible via Jackson Creek Parkway!

The development behind Trinity is quickly growing! The neighborhoods are now connected and you can access Trinity via Jackson Creek Parkway! Turn east onto Slopeside and right on Brass Buckle. Brass Buckle winds into Lucky Penny Lane, followed by one more right onto Knollwood Drive!

Trinity Keys

As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance security and streamline operations, we are conducting a key consolidation initiative. If you possess any keys related to our facilities, offices, or equipment, we kindly request that you email the office with details about the key(s) you hold. We thank you for your cooperation!

MINISTRY TEAM FEATURE OF THE MONTH

Worship & Music

In 2023, the Worship and Music Ministry team prioritized a list of desired improvements to the sound system. Using mostly designated funds, equipment was purchased to provide personal monitors for the worship band and singers. These personal monitors make it easier for the members of the team to hear themselves and each other in the mix. A hands-free microphone was also procured for the use of the worship assistant and the lector. Wiring challenges have delayed the installation of this mic, but we hope to install it soon. The team has refined the list of future improvements and we are getting pricing for each item. Once the details are worked out, funding will be pursued, in the form of a grant or special offering, or both.

Improvements being pursued are the addition of ambient mics, to add the sound of the congregation singing and responding to the livestream, an improved antenna management system for the wireless mics, and projector maintenance. The Worship and Music Ministry team consists of representatives of the entire church, including council, staff, and the congregation. Comments and suggestions are encouraged.

UPCOMING EVENTS

We are receiving Douglas Firs for our tree planting event! There are extra trees coming, please let Tamara know if you want/need one.

Please bring gardening gloves, shovel/spade, and a 1 gallon jug to water your tree!

Get ready to shine your light! Our final Family Faith Night on May 8th, we invite all generations to showcase their gifts and passions in the sanctuary. Whether you've got a knack for singing, dancing, acting, poetry, or any other talent we can showcase live or through a video, this is your moment to shine. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above (James 1:17). We invite you to show the unique gifts you've been given that SHINES back to our awesome God!

And for those who prefer to sit back and enjoy the show, we welcome you to be part of our enthusiastic audience, cheering on our family as they showcase their talents. It'll be a night of celebration, creativity, and connection. Join us for our last Family Faith Night of the year filled with laughter, applause, and endless moments of joy as we come together to celebrate the incredible talents that make our community so special.

CELEBRATIONS

On Sunday, we held a special moment to celebrate Marie West who has been named the FOX31 Serving Those Who Serve Hero of the Month. Click the video to see the feature! Congratulations, Marie!

Scenes from Holy Week

We held services on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday last week. These services included reflective readings by characters who knew Jesus in his last few days on earth. Thank you to all who volunteered their time and talent to hold these special services! Miss the services but still want to see them? Click here to see our past livestreamed services!

We had a blast at our Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday morning! To the volunteers who generously gave their time and energy to help organize and facilitate the event, thank you for your dedication and hard work. From hiding eggs, guiding eager hunters or giving the children's message of Jesus' resurrection, your contributions ensured that everything ran smoothly and that smiles were plentiful. And last but certainly not least, to all the children who participated in the egg hunt with enthusiasm and energy, thank you for your laughter, excitement, and sheer delight that brought warmth to our hearts and smiles to our faces!
