Shane also runs a Start Your Own Business course, which highlights various aspects when it comes to setting up a business. This can be obtained for a nominal fee of €25. This is frequently advertised on our Facebook page

Tús at DNP

Tús is a community work placement programme that offers a one year work placement opportunity to people who have been unemployed and on the live register for more than 12 months.

This can involve work in areas such as;

• Caretaking
• Repairing Equipment
• Renovation
• Social Care
• Community Administration

Tús placements last for 12 months (52 weeks) and work hours are 19.5 per week. If you are unemployed for over 12 months, and Tús seems like the way to go, please send an email to us: info@dublinnorthwest.ie with your details and we can pass it along to our Tús team here in Dublin Northwest Partnership.
