 Janelle Barcelona Named DuPage
PADS Director of Development
DuPage PADS is proud to announce that Janelle Barcelona has joined DuPage PADS as the Director of Development bringing years of development and major gift experience.
"The DuPage PADS Board of Directors and staff are excited to have Janelle, a team oriented and mission driven leader, to direct our development efforts," said Carol Simler, Executive Director.
Janelle brings more than 30 years of nonprofit experience, most recently consulting nonprofit clients on their marketing, management and philanthropic needs, including leading capital campaigns and serving as an interim leader. | |
"I am passionate about the mission to end homelessness in my County and I know there is a significant growing need for resources right here at home. I am fortunate that DuPage PADS was a client a couple years ago and I value that the staff and the board are people of high integrity who are dedicated to end homelessness in DuPage County," said Janelle.

Take A Step to End Homelessness at the 7th Annual DuPage PADS Run/Walk!
 Join us on Saturday, September 10th at 8am for the DuPage PADS Run/Walk! Our 5K CARA approved course appeals to serious runners, casual joggers and families alike.
Whether you're an individual runner, family, group of friends, company, club or congregation, you are invitied to be a part of this FUNdraiser!

'100 Ways of Giving' Celebrates 100 Years of EMC Insurance Companies and Gives Back to Local Community
On behalf of Delores Ford of Stanford and Associates, Inc. and EMC Insurance Companies, DuPage PADS, Inc. received a $1,000 grant through the 100 Ways of Giving program. At the same time, DuPage PADS received a matching grant from Stanford and Associates, Inc.
The grant money will be used to help DuPage PADS continue the work they do for the homeless in their community. Specifically, DuPage PADS plans to purchase transportation passes so parents will be able to bring their children to doctors' offices and medical facilities. DuPage PADS is one of 100 non-profit organizations nominated by local insurance agents to receive a 100 Ways of Giving grant from the EMC Insurance Foundation.
The profile for DuPage PADS has been posted on their website for a 100-day voting period. You can cast your vote for DuPage PADS here. In just 60 days, the four nonprofit organizations with the highest combined scores from the public votes and EMC Insurance Foundation will each receive a $25,000 grant.
