Drop in Scarf Dying

We are happy to announce that we will be offering a drop in scarf dyeing event to help kick off the new schedule of classes at the Windsor Art Center. 

This event will be held Saturday, April 5 from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. at the Windsor Art Center, located at 40 Mechanic Street in Windsor. 

14 x 72 inch silk scarves will be available for you to dye. The cost is just $20 per scarf. Refreshments will be served. You can also learn about the Art Center and see project examples of the upcoming classes.

Scarf dyeing is so much fun. You take sumptuous silk, squirt your choice of colors on it, scrunch it in a variety of ways, pop in the microwave, rinse,  iron and voila, you have a masterpiece.

It is a satisfying and relaxing way to create fabulous and artful scarves. No matter how "creatively challenged" you believe you are, you will be amazed at what you can create.

If you have attended one of our events previously, you know how much fun it is. If you haven't yet, this is a great opportunity.
