WaveAerospace, located in Stratford, is a maker of commercial, high performance, unmanned aerial vehicles or drones.

The company was co-founded by aerospace engineer, Steve Bofill, and pilot and entrepreneur, Mark Strauss. It was founded in 2017 under Connecticut’s Technology Incubator Program.

Today WaveAerospace has a portfolio of drones including object recognition drones and carrying drones which bring goods from one point to another.

The CEO is Mark Strauss. He and his team will be providing the demonstration. 

WaveAerospace produces high capacity drones that can fly in any weather conditions from any platforms. Designed for commercial, medical, military and foreign governments, their drones are known for their capacity, durability and operation in any kind of weather.

Getting There

Address: Wave Aerospace Hangar -- 700 Great Meadow Road, Sikorski Airfield, Stratford, CT

We'll gather at I-95 Exit 18 Commuter Parking at 9:45 and form carpools.

We'll exit at Exit 30 of I-95 and drive a short distance to the Hangar.

We are due to report by 10:30 at the Drone Hangar.

The demonstration will take place until 12 noon or 12:30.

Lunch

For those wishing, we'll dine at the Little Pub in nearby Lordship.
