Mark Kvamme is stepping away from operations to become partner emeritus at Drive Capital, 

the venture firm with the most impact in transforming the Midwest into a Tech Belt.

Co-founder and Partner Chris Olsen will keep leading the $2.2 billion firm solo while Kvamme pursues his passion: sports car racing. 

My question: What happens when the partner with the original vision for the firm steps away? and when times are tough for Drive Capital's

portfolio companies?

A LOT to handle solo, and not great news for the region.
