Hey everybody,
Last months Restring Fundraiser for Petaluma Animal Services was amazing. Thanks to you we were able to help raise $450 and we had a 12 year old cat get adopted! This month we help raise money for Rohnert Park's Credo High School. THE LATEST: We've launched our NEW A/V Installation Website! Please take a moment and check it out by clicking here. A new music store web site is coming soon! There's still space available for the three part Chris Pimentel Guitar Solo Workshop - it begins Saturday so let us know if you want to reserve a spot right away. ROCK OVERTIME: We've got four full bands brewing for the March Rock Overtime Band camp. We'll be sending out emails with the latest band assignments in the next 24 hours. Last but not least we've also begun filming LOUD TV! Today we shot/interviewed some of our favorite local businesses and business people like Michael from the Redwood Cafe, Cheryl from Friar Tucks Pub, Gerard from Sally Tomatoes, Blair from Zone Recording and we've got lots more filming to do. More businesses, bands, non profits, local gear manufacturers like Two Rock amps and EMG and lots, lots more! Besides event information, I've listed some fun gear for you to check out below. This list doesn't even scratch the surface of what we have in stock so please visit our Face Book page for more gear, deals and event information. Or even better, come by the shop and visit with us. THANK YOU and best wishes to you, your friends, and family!

RESTRING YOUR THING!
RESTRING FUNDRAISER FOR CREDO HIGH SCHOOL IN ROHNERT PARK
SATURDAY MARCH 21 1:00p-4:00p
Get ready for yet another
Free Strings Saturday!
With help from D'addario, we do a restring fundraiser every month for a different local non-profit. This month we're doing it for Credo High School.
Bring in your six string electric or acoustic guitar, or ukulele and we'll restring it for you with a new set of D'addario strings with your donation of $10 or more to Credo High School.
What could be better than getting free strings donated by our kind friends at D'addario, having a Loud and Clear Tech put them on for you AND helping a great cause? All proceeds go to Credo High School. We are thankful to be able to help raise funds for this awesome local non-profit.
We try to get as many guitars done as possible so please no locking trems/Floyd Rose, 12 strings or bass for this event. Thank you!

 Super Used Cymbal Collection
"When it rains it poor's" and we've been rained on with a slew of great craft cymbals from Zildjian to Istanbul.
One cymbal that has caught my attention recently is this Bosphorus 21" Antique ride. I would describe this as a medium/light weight cymbal so it has the complexity you would expect from a lighter cymbal and the definition you want from a heavier weight cymbal.
As is expected from an artisan manufacturer like Bosphorus, the cymbal is hand hammered and sports a unique lathing pattern.
To see this beauty and many more like it come by, grab a stick and prepare to get rained on. |

YAMAHA A SERIES ELECTRIC ACOUSTIC GUITARS
When we unpacked the new A series guitars the first thing I noticed was how awesome they look. I'm a sucker for wood binding and wood inlay and these have both. The spruce top is clean and the rosewood back and sides look great. When I took my first strum I was really pleased. It played easy like a Taylor but had the chunk of a traditional Gibson or
Guild that I prefer, but it was when I plugged it in that I was blown away! The Yamaha A-Series acoustics are by far the best sounding electric acoustic in the store.
The cutting edge S.R.T. (Studio Response Technology) preamp/pickup system allows you to choose between two Neumann mic models and a Royer Ribbon mic. There is also a fader that controls how resonant you want it. Totally amazing sounding pickup system. These guitars are designed for today's player who requires a reliable workhorse that looks feels and sounds amazing in all applications. A performance level bang-for-your-buck' guitar offering quality build & materials such as Solid Sitka Spruce Top, Solid Rosewood Back/Sides, Ebony Fingerboard/Bridge and a neck profile that is a thrill to play for hours on end is just plain awesome!

TAYLOR GUITARS!
(left) Ben with a beautiful 1989 Taylor 810C with LR BAGGS Dual Source pickup and case $1,500, (right) Jared with a 2006 Taylor 810C Custom w/ adirondack spruce top and Brazilian back and sides w/case $2999

TAYLOR 810
The 810 is Taylor's take on a classic Dreadnought sized guitar perfect for flatpickers. What separates this from a stock one are the factory upgrades of an Adirondack Spruce top and Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. Adirondack spruce was used during the pre-WW2 era guitars and have a much higher ceiling for volume than Sitka Spruce. This gives you a loud, clear and bright tone perfect for lead and rhythm players. Brazilian Rosewood has long been regarded as the Holy grail of wood thanks to it's beautiful finishes, rarity and lush sound.
Everything has been confirmed by Taylor and the original list price was close to $6000, so this is a steal for only $2,999 at Loud and Clear!
