DTC'S focus on the actress as artist is apparent in all of their productions. The purpose of creating TOW was to push the art of acting through the examination of the actress in the play and dare the playwrights to create good roles. They are created to be strong, sexy, funny, villainous, heroic, demonic or even the opposite gender.
