Principal's Message

Dear Parents,

It is amazing how well everyone has adjusted to their new routines so quickly. Our Kindergarteners look like pros on the courtyard at morning assembly and all the students seem settled in their classrooms as they get to know their new classmates and teachers.

Tomorrow, our 1st - 8th graders will learn yet another new routine, which will be finding their new places in church. We hope to start moving to church at 7:55 so please be on time for carpool.

The new schedules for parent orientation nights have been posted. There will not be a church portion this year, so parents should report directly to their child’s homeroom classroom. Presentations will begin promptly at the scheduled start time so plan accordingly.

Today’s bus service was better than yesterday so that is encouraging. We have worked hard to improve communications between the Department of Transportation, the bus drivers and school so that we can give you up to date information as we receive it. Keep in mind that the bus drivers are also learning new routines and multiple new routes, so we expect service and pick-up times to continue to improve over the next few schooldays.

It truly has been a wonderful start to the school year!
