It has been a challenging 18 months battling COVID along with all the other medical problems we see in our daily practice.

My name is Dr. Dean Mitchell and I’m the Medical Director for MRS. My background and training are in Immunology, Infectious Disease and Allergy. I trained in the late 1980’s and early 1990's at the height of the AIDS epidemic in New York City. I certainly remember how traumatizing and frightening it was for the patients, their families and the healthcare providers. Once again, we are faced with an infectious disease that has affected everyone’s lives. We have all had to adapt our practices to this new environment, where precautions must be made to make our offices safe. In some cases providing new telehealth options to accommodate patients who are afraid to leave their homes or just to make their medical experience more convenient.
