Help Beautify Downtown - Unboxed: The Utility Box Art Project

Calling all local artists! The Downtown Syracuse Foundation, in partnership with the Downtown Committee of Syracuse, is inviting artists from Onondaga County to participate in a pilot public art program to transform utility boxes in Downtown into works of art!

Unboxed: The Utility Box Art Project is an initiative to bring even more dynamic public art to Downtown Syracuse. Artists are invited to submit up to three (3) designs that are vibrant in nature, beautify the urban district and infuse creativity into the landscape. Artists will paint designs directly onto Downtown utility boxes, and each selected artist will receive payment for their work and have costs of supplies covered through funding.

Click the link below for program requirements and submission details. Act fast because submissions are due by August 10!
