Miss Prissy's To Begin Construction
Miss Prissy's, known for its signature American soul food and being one of the original eight vendors at the Salt City Market, hosted a project kickoff event last week at its new home, located at 431 South Warren Street. Owners Dreamer Glen and Cyrus Thornton raised funds through private investment for the new space and through Onondaga County's Hospitality Support Initiative. The restaurant plans to be in operation by November, becoming the only Black women-owned upscale eatery in Downtown Syracuse.
