Hello Newsletter Readers,

Happy Wednesday! Colorful tulips are blossoming along the Pearl Street Mall, making now the perfect time to visit downtown and admire these beautiful spring flowers. (Fun fact: over 15,000 tulip bulbs imported from Holland are planted along the mall each year.) All of Mother Nature's April rain showers will only continue to help this season bloom!

There are plenty of community events happening over the next few weeks, whether you are looking to flex your creative muscles at Colorado Glass Work's beginners stained glass class or relax with Sunday morning yoga at the Museum of Boulder. First Sip

April 26 - 30, 2023

Raise a glass to Boulder's exceptional beverage scene during First Sip, beginning today through April 30. Celebrate with drink specials and local events at many of downtown's restaurants, from the Pearl Street Pear-a-dise rum cocktail at Gemini to a “Sip of Sicily” Wine Flight at Pizzeria Alberico.

Not a booze drinker? Several partners are featuring exciting non-alcoholic mocktails, and you may find your favorite coffee or tea at participating shops like Süti & Co. Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind Boulder beverage weekend!

Spring Window Painting Program

Now - May 14, 2023

Downtown Boulder hosted our first-ever Spring Window Painting Program on Saturday, April 15. Modeled after a popular window painting event that happens every fall in downtown Lafayette, K-12 students were invited to paint participating business window fronts with spring-themed paintings.

If you have not yet seen these adorable creations, check out a map of window art locations before strolling down Pearl Street. Window paintings will stay up on participating business windows through Mother's Day.

Saturdays, 8 am - 2 pm & Wednesdays, 4 pm - 8 pm (beginning May 3)

Mark your calendars...Boulder County Farmers Market (BCFM) Wednesdays return one week from today (May 3)! Enjoy fresh produce, live music and local vendors Wednesday evenings from 4 - 8 pm on 13th Street near the Civic Area. Then pack your tote bags again for the Saturday market, where you can restock on goodies and enjoy a delicious meal from local merchants.

Did you know that there are nearly 90 businesses downtown that can be found off of the Pearl Street Mall? From local boutiques and world-class restaurants to art galleries and live music venues, every foodie, shopper and experience-seeker can find something to love Off the Bricks between the East and West Ends.

On Broadway Street, shop gourmet goods at Boulder Olive Oil Company and Savory Spice Shop. Foodies flock to Walnut Street to enjoy five-star dishes and five-star views at Corrida and Rosetta Hall. Venture to Spruce Street for holistic remedies at Rebecca's Herbal Apothecary & Supply before relaxing at Symmetry360 Massage. No visit to downtown Boulder would be complete without taking a trip down all of the Pearl Street Mall's adjacent streets!
