Hello, Newsletter Readers -
Happy February - the month of love! Now is the perfect time to show how much you care for others, but it's also important to take time to care for yourself - 2022 has already felt like a long one.
If you're looking for something on a smaller scale, treat your feet to a new pair of shoes from ShoeFly, Two Sole Sisters or Pedestrian Shops. Or simply warm your soul with a beverage off our coffee trail or a little something from our sweets trail. However you plan on celebrating Valentine's Day, be sure to carve out time for some self-love.
When you come downtown, be sure to look up! Incredible young artists from Columbine Elementary, Casey Middle School and Boulder High School have created 42 new lamp pole banners to adorn the Pearl Street Mall. The 2022 Student Banner Project, centering around the theme of Social Justice, is presented by Boulder Arts Week.
Keep reading for gift ideas and mid-winter sales. Have a great few weeks and take care of one another!

Mid-Winter Sales I Begin February 11
If you're more of a savvy bargain shopper, keep an eye out for mid-winter sales at some of your favorite retailers. Starting February 11, show some love to small businesses downtown and peruse their shelves for great winter deals. Pick up fresh wall art at Art Source International or spice up your wardrobe at Savvy on Pearl. Mid-winter is the perfect time to stock up on all things winter before the weather changes!
Did you know that when we shop locally, 70% of our spending stays in the local economy? In comparison, only 30% stays when shopping non-local. Small businesses are the cornerstones of our communities (and they can always use some love). This Valentine's Day, and all month long, pledge to shop small!
