Mike Dorgan's Referral Of The Month
I was a Seattle Sailor looking to maybe move into a twin diesel power boat when I met Michael. He picked me up at the San Diego airport and soon overwhelmed me with his general willingness and determination to address my detailed questions. I have bought several sailboats over the last 45 years and have learned to ask a lot of a Broker and Seller. Since this was my first substantial Power boat purchase I was quite unsure of whether I would proceed. Mike was knowledgeable and competent and honest about everything. He arranged for a demanding Sea trial and a Mechanical survey which was a Sea trial as well. He made the transaction smooth and seamless while dealing with unavoidable personal problems of the Seller and unrelated personal issues I was having. He was always patient and kind. He is a great person. His follow up help after the closing was great . He picked me up at the airport again. He gave me lessons on handling the 39,000 pound boat in close quarters (lots of docking practice). His skill level is beyond professional. He is literally a champion sailor who is equally well versed with powerboats and systems. He helped move the Boat to the shipyard for decommissioning and transportation to Seattle and offered helpful tips along the way. Obviously I would recommend Mike to anyone buying or selling or managing any Boat. He is incredibly well connected with all aspects of the Marine industry so he is very efficient. In my opinion he is #1 .
