Conquering LIHTC Compliance and Optional HCCP Exam

OHFA is proud to sponsor a Conquering LIHTC training with an optional Housing Certified Credit Professional (HCCP) exam. This is a two-day in-person training conducted by US Housing Consultants in Columbus, Ohio, on September 24 and 25th. 

The course contains HOTMA updates and is specially designed to assist affordable housing professionals in conquering LIHTC project compliance.

Core HOTMA Concepts: Calculating Income for Multiple Programs

OHFA is proud to sponsor a Core HOTMA Concepts training. This training is a two-part live webinar conducted through Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) Affordable Housing Training Academy (AHTA). Lisa Thompson of Affordable Housing Specialists is the presenter. 

This course will be presented in a series of two live webinars and will cover:

Part I - Income Basics

• What is counted
• Verification methods

Part II - Assets and Income from Assets 

• What is counted
• Verification methods
• How asset income is included in annual income

These are concepts that will apply to Section 8, RD, LIHTC and HOME/NHTF units within LIHTC properties. Note that this course will not cover concepts that are specific to Section 8 properties such as adjusted income, the asset limitations, and interim recertifications.
