HomeAid Atlanta’s mission is to help people experiencing or at risk of homelessness build new lives through construction, community engagement, and education.

The Essentials Drive Ends April 30!

An estimated 4,770 people in metro Atlanta experience homelessness on any given night and almost 35% are women and children. HomeAid recognizes how challenging it can be for families and individuals to provide for their most basic needs during times of crisis and transition. Thanks to the support of people like you, the Essentials Drive has collected more than 2.1 million baby items since 2002, assisting countless families - in honor of Mother's Day.

Help us achieve our goal of 300,000 baby items this year!

New Project Possibilities

HomeAid Atlanta is currently receiving inquiries for several new projects, some of which are commercial projects. Contact us if you have a commercial construction license or know someone who does and would be interested in learning more about these potential new projects that continue our efforts to build a future without homelessness. April HomeAid Care Days

Ashton Woods & Friends at House of Dawn

Ashton Woods Homes employees participated in a HomeAid Care Day at House of Dawn in Jonesboro on April 11, and again on April 12 with additional help from Beacon Management Services and BrightView. Volunteers completed priming and painting tasks, as well as major landscape work, building a gazebo, and more. House of Dawn provides housing and supportive services to young mothers and their children at risk of homelessness, as well as workforce affordable housing.

SouthState Bank at Status: Home

On April 19, volunteers from SouthState Bank joined us for a HomeAid Care Day at Status: Home. The group painted the interiors of three townhome apartments that will soon provide affordable housing for people affected by HIV/AIDS who are at risk of homelessness.

Teens Pack 1,500 HomeAid CareKits

On March 27, this fun group of volunteers from The Northview Church's Middle School and Teen Ministry packed 1,000 HomeAid CareKits. CareKits contain essential hygiene items for people affected by homelessness. Crossroads Community Ministries and The Elizabeth Foundation distributed the CareKits to those they serve.

Grant Smith, a Senior at Cornerstone Prep Academy, recently packed 500 HomeAid CareKits for 7 Bridges to Recovery for his Senior Legacy Project.
