LCTV News August 1, 2023

Hello Claire,

We've got something very special for you this Saturday night at 7pm, only on LCTV: a one-hour show featuring the 50-year career of famed Maine broadcast journalist Don Carrigan.

I had the honor of sitting down with Don a few weeks ago, and now the show is ready for you. We've added in some vintage clips, photos, and guest appearances from Don's NEWCENTER Maine colleagues. Tune in to hear about how Don got his start, the story that earned Don and his colleagues an Emmy, and the one that got away,

Catch the show's premiere Saturday night at 7:00pm on local channel 7 and LCTV.org. If you miss it, we'll have the On Demand link for you next week.

Support Medomak Valley Fall Football Livestreams & Broadcasts

Did you feel that crisp air this morning, along with the flip of the calendar to August? Hard to believe, but the 2023 Medomak Valley football season is just two and a half weeks away. The first exhibition game is at home on Aug. 19 versus Freeport.

We loved bringing you fall football last year, so we're upping our game.

Starting with the home season opener on Sept. 2 vs. Hampden Academy, LCTV will live stream eight Medomak Valley Varsity games, both Home and Away.

Sponsor 2023 Medomak Valley Football Livestreams

We'll also broadcast the games a few days later on local channel 7 for those of our viewers who prefer to watch this way.

To do this, we need your help. We're calling on our supportive business community to help us with $500 Sponsorships. As thanks, your business' name and logo will appear on screen three times each game, plus every On Demand replay. Many of you will hear from me this week, but please also feel free to reach out at yank@tidewater.net or by calling the LCTV Studio at 563-6338.

Starting next week, we're also offering a new "Broadcast Booster" option for all the family, friends, and fans of Medomak Valley football. For $100, your name will appear before and after each game as an "LCTV Broadcast Booster". Look for the one-click form next week.
