Happy Summer!- The Lucky Dog Crew would like to thank all our clients and friends for all of their continued support! Without you, Lucky Dog would not be where it is today! We value each and everyone of you.

For all our new and year round clients please take a look at our fun and learning filled New Year schedule below! We have added some new classes to the lineup. we have also changed the layout of our email. Class Descriptions are first with each month's calendar underneath Instead of clicking in the class description to sign up, just go to the button under the month header above the weekly calendar for each month, the button will take you to a sign up page for all the classes for that month.

Page down until you see the calendar for the month you want to sign up. There have been a few class changes to March and some new classes added April and May, so make sure you take a look!

In Person Group Classes for July start the week of July 8th and end the week of July 29th.

In Person Group Classes for August start the week of August 5th and end the week of August 26th.

Lucky Dog Company will be closed Mon 7/1 - Fri 7/5 and Sat 7/27.

My Awesome Puppy

(Puppy Primer)

Ages 11 weeks - 6 months

Got a new puppy? This class is for you. Help with all the normal puppy problems like nipping and potty training. Learn how to train your puppy in a fun and positive way. Learn the basics of sit, down, coming when called. Learn the concepts to help your puppy grow into a optimistic, confident and calm adult dog.

My Awesome Dog

(Paws Up Basics)

Ages 6 months and up

Does your dog need the basics? This class is for you. Help with all the normal behavior problems. Learn how to train your dog in a fun and positive way. This class will help you and your dog learn basics like sit, down, coming when called and loose leash walking. Also learn positive ways to deal with minor behavior issues. Learn the concepts to help your dog be a calm, well behaved member of your family.

AKC Canine

Good Citizen

This class will cover all items on the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test. It includes the Canine Good Citizen Testing. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC evaluation receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. This is the first of 3 classes that we offer to help with Therapy Dog preparation.

& Engagement

This class is for fun and learning the basics of Agility with your dog. We cover the basic equipment and handling moves. Helps to teach coordination, cooperation, control and focus. Have fun and get active with your dog. Strengthen the bond between you and your dog.

Games for Fun & Confidence

This class will help build confidence, teamwork and sniffing skills with fun games and searches. Put your dog's love for sniffing to work and have fun doing easy to challenging scent work searches. This class is suited for dogs of all ages.

Trick Doggie Fun 

Tricks are a great way to keep training and building that relationship with your dog! They can also help build your dogs confidence and increase your dog's ability to focus. In this class you will learn new tricks and build on ones you may already know. Dogs can also earn an AKC or DMWYD trick title if they are ready.

Coursework and skills for Competition

Whether you are ready to or already competing in AKC Rally Obedience, this class will improve your skills and teamwork by proofing your obedience behaviors through course work.

AKC

Community Canine

AKC Community Canine is the advanced level of testing offered by AKC. It tests the ability of your dog to maintain control, good manners and obedience in group situations with other dogs. All dogs who pass the 10 item evaluation receive the CGCA title from the American Kennel Club. These classes help build both handler and dog skills.

Prerequisite: AKC CGC class.

Upper Level Obedience Skills for Therapy, Sport and Working Dogs

This class takes your obedience skills beyond the basics and Canine Good Citizen. In this class we will be proofing and building our dogs ability to work through distractions. Looking to keep your skills sharp and learn new obedience moves- this class is for you.

The Scent Work Dog

Skills for Competition and Odor Recognition

This class is for those dogs that are ready for the next level of scent work. We introduce novel odors (depending on dogs skill level) along with more difficult searches and competition type searches. This class includes a starter kit with every thing you need. Continue to build on the fun of your dog using their nose to find the scent.

In this class we will use games to help teach our hyper, over excited, high energy and active dogs to be calm in everyday situations and distracting environments. Learn fun, positive and effective ways to change your dogs behavior.

AKC Fit Dog

Level 1

Join this class to learn some basic fitness exercises to help keep your dog in tip top shape. This class will teach you level one exercises and a beginner routine to add to your dog's fitness plan. If you are working on AKC Fit Dog Titles for your dog then these class can help with those too. This class is part of the AKC Fit Dog Program.
