Countdown to Summer.
The Summer is nearly here! Once TVA gets a handle on the water situation we should have a GREAT
SUMMER!

Greetings!
I hope this email finds you well. As you will see in this newsletter, the water level is extremely high here on Tim's. As much as 3'-4' ABOVE normal summer pool. A full lake is a GREAT thing, an OVER filled lake is not.
I have been very insistent in my newsletters about electrical safety. Piers, gangways and even some docks are UNDER water! If yours happens to be one of these please, please, when the lake level drops, HAVE YOUR PIER, GANGWAY AND DOCK CHECKED FOR POSSIBLE ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS.
Another important but not critical area of concern is your shoreline. High water takes its toll on tree roots and soil. A quick look at the trees at the edge of your property is in order.
Debris: there is a lot of debris in the water. Trees, logs, branches, old piers and broken loose docks are out there. We have also seen old tires, buckets, barrels and the occasional cooler coasting by.
Before operating your boat lift, inspect the area. trees and logs seem to find their way in boat slips and under boat lifts.
I hope that this will be the only newsletter that is more alarming than informational.

TVA
Lake Level : 4' ABOVE Summer Pool.
As you are aware, the TVA began raising the lake level about a month ago. This was a good thing. The recent deluge of rain has had a negative effect on the level. We now have TOO much water. With additional rain throughout this weekend, Tim's Ford Lake will be extremely full. Possibly 4' above normal summer pool.
The red line shows the steady filling process by TVA. As you can clearly see, the "spike" as the rain waters continue to enter the lake. Let's hope the TVA is successful in managing the water coming in this weekend.

The New "Waller Dock"..
This new dock features a single boat slip and a side jetski slip. Gable roof, under roof patio setting and maintenance free decking, and of course the "doggie" ladder for their black lab. A very clean looking dock that is simple to care for...yep, we do it right!

Please Note:
If you are going to get an early jump on the summer season and plan on hitting the lake soon, please take note;
1) The lake level is HIGH , so be aware of unknown areas.
2) Debris: As is every spring, the lake has floating debris. Trees, logs, branches as well as derelict dock and pier sections. Hitting any of these may cause personal injury and damage to your craft. BE CAREFUL!
3) Please follow all safety rules and regulations as set forth by the State of Tennessee and the US Coast Guard.
