Independence Day

Independence Day is celebrated as the Fourth of July holiday in the United States. It commemorates the passage of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776.

San Diego Pride

San Diego Pride will take place July 13-21. It will feature various events and celebrations including She Fest, Pride Parade, and Festival. The theme this year is "Making History Now".

San Diego Pride invites you to:

Join their advocacy team and help us fight back against anti-LGBTQIA+ hate.
Volunteer your time with one of San Diego Pride’s free year-round programs.
Support emerging LGBTQIA+ artists by attending the 2024 parade and festival.
Engage your workplace ERG to sponsor our events or volunteer as a group.

The Alliance Healthcare Foundation is seeking resident leaders who are interested in social innovation and deeply care about transforming communities through systems change and out-of-the-box thinking. The leaders will help further the foundation's mission of advancing health and wellness.

The County of San Diego's HCDS Needs Your Input

Housing and Community Development Services (HCDS) has started its outreach effort to receive community input for the upcoming 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan. Community input received will assist in shaping the County’s 5-year strategic goals and community development project priorities across the region.

Virtual Community Input Sessions scheduled, as well as new online Community Input Surveys now available through 8/12/24.

CIE Partner Gathering

The CIE Partner Network works to improve the overall service delivery system for clients. Our meeting provides a forum for partners to share updates about ongoing CIE Initiatives, share trends in our community, and collaborate on how we as a network are leveraging our partnership, data sharing, and the CIE technology platform to address the social determinants of health and increase health equity.

Join us for a range of content. Each month, we may dive into the latest technology projects, elicit feedback on the platform’s care coordination tools, or spotlight programs and supports for unique populations. The partner gathering is a space to engage with peers across our shared network. Join us on the 4th Thursday of every month (except November and December) at 9:00 am via Zoom.
