Dear CSD Parents and Families,
It's official: School is out for the summer!
The 2023-24 school year has been another remarkable year for the Cedarburg School District. This past Sunday, 250 seniors walked across the stage at Cedarburg High School on their way to their next adventure. A total of 152 members of the 2024 Graduating class received over $313,000 in scholarships and completed over 21,505 hours of community service during their high school years. What this graduating class accomplished is truly amazing, and we are definitely going to miss them.
I hope each of you has an exciting and restful summer. Just know that the CSD administration and staff are already planning for and looking forward to the start of the 2024-25 school year.

Wishing you and your family a phenomenal summer,
Dr. Jeridon Clark, Superintendent

We'd like to end the year by expressing our gratitude for your ongoing support of CSD schools!

Traditions, Some Old and Some New
|
During a recent retirement breakfast ceremony, which took place on a professional development day in April, we celebrated the retirement of four exceptional teachers and support staff members. The honorees—Pam Geiser, Ronnie Morgan, Barbel Stell, and Heidi Pautz—were recognized by their school principals. It's important never to forget the positive impact they've had!
We would also like to express our gratitude to the departing administrators as the school year comes to an end. Join us in wishing all the best to Alan Groth, Ben Irwin, and Angela Little! Our success relies on the combined efforts of many, and we will surely miss them all!

Long Standing Webster Tradition
|
On the Friday morning before Memorial Day, Webster held its Annual Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony. This day is unique as we remember Stephen Castner, a Cedarburg graduate who served in the U.S. Army and died at the age of 27 in 2006. Each year, staff and students place a flag in front of Webster, paying tribute to Stephen. Inside, Webster’s halls were lined with biographies of Wisconsin men and women who have fallen, and the morning was devoted to lessons on the importance of Memorial Day.

Grand Grad Walk
Excitement was in the air last Friday, with graduation just around the corner! If you had a child graduating this year, you feel all the emotions. We wish you and your family all the best! We are thrilled to continue a special tradition that began at CHS a few years ago, the Grand Grad Walk through our elementary schools, SFB, and FIL. This one moment embraces a flash in time that honors the past, embraces the present, and celebrates the future. More photos.

Graduation Day
JUNE 2, 2024. This year's Cedarburg High School seniors are a direct result of success through hard work and resilience. Sunday's graduation symbolized at once both an end and a new beginning. Cedarburg will always be home for each student, regardless of where they end up living, studying, and working. We will enjoy watching them learn and grow and look forward to celebrating their success in all they choose to do. Congratulations to the Class of 2024! More photos.

Westlawn Dolphins 5th Grade Class
Today, Westlawn celebrated the 5th-grade students as they entered the building for the last time as Dolphins. Students in grades K-4 congratulated the 5th graders for one last time. During the morning assembly, teachers recognized each student and read a personalized message describing them and their time at Westlawn. A single word that encompassed each individual student’s character and hard work was engraved on a keychain. It was a touching and meaningful experience for both the staff and the students.

Parkview Bullpups 5th Grade Class
The day started with a morning assembly, during which the bullpup band performed. Parkview concluded the eventful last day with a celebration to honor the 5th-grade students. The Bullpups marched through the halls for the final time, receiving cheers, high-fives, and best wishes. Students are excited to move on to Webster, but their teachers and peers are sad to see them go.
