YOU'RE INVITED To The

D64 PTO/PTA Kick-Off Event

All District 64 parents are invited to our inaugural D64 PTO Kick-Off! Hear our Superintendent, Dr. Ben Collins, present information on the upcoming Referendum, and tour the aging Lincoln Middle School to see some of the proposed improvements with each school's Principal as your guide.

  • Tuesday, September 10th
  • 7:00 p.m.
  • Lincoln Middle School (200 South Lincoln Avenue)

PTOs will have their annual kick-off meeting to highlight their year and offer an opportunity to meet more D64 parents. Daycare will be provided and this is a great opportunity to support your child's education.

Referendum 2024 Events

We also have two Referendum 2024 events next week. We would like you to learn all the facts about the proposed referendum to ensure you can make an informed decision. First up is a virtual presentation with Dr. Collins on Wednesday, August 28th, at noon. Then, we are hosting the first Beans, Brew, and Ben Community Coffee of the year on Thursday, August 29th, at 9:30 a.m. at Maine Park (2701 W. Sibley Street).

Please RSVP if you plan on attending any of the events. Based on the email you provide in the RSVP, links to the virtual presentation will be sent to you.

The full schedule of tours and events can be found online at d64.org/referendum2024

Back-To-School D64 Feature

What are D64 students & staff excited about for this school year?!

What are the great students and staff of D64 looking forward to most in the 2024-2025 school year? Superintendent Dr. Ben Collins went straight to the source in this fun back-to-school video. The first full week is in the books!

Safety Week Reminder

This is a reminder that next week is our districtwide Safety Week. Why are we doing a Safety Week? Reviewing our emergency procedures annually with our students and staff is essential. Starting Monday, August 26th, our schools will participate in a different drill daily. A drill is used to create muscle memory associated with a practiced action. We have worked with our local police and fire departments to ensure they are also part of the drills and get crucial practice of how they would respond.
