Northwest Online Business Listing Website
The Pasadena Northwest Commission is excited to inform the community and businesses about the online business listing website that showcases the various businesses located in the Northwest area of Pasadena. This user-friendly directory aims to promote and support the local businesses in the community, such as family-owned shops and neighborhood restaurants. The target audience for this community-driven marketing initiative is the Pasadena community, who may not be fully aware of the diverse range of assets available in their own backyard.

The Northwest Commission encourages all Northwest Pasadena businesses to take advantage of the self-service feature available to keep their business listing up-to-date. This includes important information such as the business owner's logo, mission statement, address, and menus or services offered.

Business owners also have the opportunity to share what they want residents of Pasadena to know about their business. Once the online form is completed, the listing will be live in the business directory within 72 hours. Visitors to the website can easily search for businesses based on categories like food, marketing, restaurants, and services.

For more information about the commission, please visit the City of Pasadena Northwest Programs Office website.

Public Art Community Meeting
Reunión comunitaria de arte público
Thursday, August 31, 6-8 p.m.
Robinson Park Recreation Center
1081 N Fair Oaks Ave
The City of Pasadena Cultural Affairs Division invites the public to a Community Meeting. This event is an opportunity for residents to meet the selected artists and find out how they can participate in the public art development process.

About Robinson Park Recreation Center Capital Improvement Public Art Project
The renovation of the Robinson Park Recreation Center, located in Northwest Pasadena, was the second and final phase of the Robinson Park Master Plan adopted by City Council in 2002 and designated as an eligible Capital Improvement Public Art project in 2015. Per the unique requirements of this project, the artists selected to the project will be responsible for initiating numerous opportunities for engaging with the diverse Northwest Pasadena community, ranging from large public events to small intimate conversations. This community-based research will then be incorporated into the artist’s Concept Art Plan, which will be presented to the City’s Arts & Culture Commission for review and approval.

For more information about the public art project and Community Meeting, contact Corey Dunlap at CDunlap@CityOfPasadena.net or visit CityOfPasadena.net/Arts.
