Pasadena Farmers Market Victory Park Pop Up Booth for Community Input
WHEN: Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 8:00 am to noon
WHERE: Victory Park at Sierra Madre Boulevard and Paloma Street in front of Pasadena High School
WHO: The City and consulting team led by Gruen Associates are working on the design for the Pasadena Central Library Retrofit and Renovations Project.
WHAT: We want to get the community's input on the Pasadena Central Library Retrofit and Renovations Project. Our team of expert planners and specialty consultants will be at the Victory Park Farmers Market community pop up booth to gather insights about the nearly 100-year-old library's new design - tell us how you use the library now and in the future!
WHY: Progress is being made on Pasadena's Central Library design work, since its closure in 2021. The project's design will seismically improve the structure while also preserving the building's historic character. Once the library design is complete, the City will solicit construction bids in 2025.

AN OPPORTUNITY TO REIMAGINE THE 710 STUB
Community engagement and civic participation will be an integral part of developing a model for the former 710 property. In recognition of this foundational concept, The City Council has created the Reconnecting Communities 710 Advisory Group (RC 710 Advisory Group) to provide input on the vision, land use, transportation network, infrastructure, economics, and restorative justice lens through which these key policy topics may be evaluated against. The RC 710 Advisory Group is a Brown-Act body to provide transparency and encourage public participation. A website regarding the 710 project is located here: https://www.cityofpasadena.net/city-manager/710-revisioning-project/.
This webpage contains information regarding current and past agendas and will be continuously updated to provide updated and relevant data, information, and content.
