Celebrate 4th of July Safely
|
Dear Neighbors,
As summer unfolds, let's embrace the warmth and liveliness it brings to our community. It is a great time for outdoor adventures and creating cherished memories. I hope you have an opportunity to join the fun at one of the many community events!
As our city prepares to celebrate the Fourth of July, let's remember the importance of safety. Pasadena reinforces all fireworks are illegal and the city ordinance will be strictly enforced. Help keep all of us safe from illegal fireworks.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to the District 3 Office for any assistance.
Warm Regards,
Councilmember Justin L. Jones

AN OPPORTUNITY TO REIMAGINE THE 710 STUB
Community engagement and civic participation will be an integral part of developing a model for the former 710 property. In recognition of this foundational concept, The City Council has created the Reconnecting Communities 710 Advisory Group (RC 710 Advisory Group) to provide input on the vision, land use, transportation network, infrastructure, economics, and restorative justice lens through which these key policy topics may be evaluated against. The RC 710 Advisory Group is a Brown-Act body to provide transparency and encourage public participation. A website regarding the 710 project is located here: https://www.cityofpasadena.net/city-manager/710-revisioning-project/.
This webpage contains information regarding current and past agendas and will be continuously updated to provide updated and relevant data, information, and content.

New fares are coming to Metro on July 1.
Metro is introducing fare capping, which means the more you ride, the more you will save. You will never pay more than $5 in a day or $18 within seven days. Once you reach the 1-Day or 7-Day fare cap, rides are FREE! Frequent riders will benefit the most. This is less than the regular price of Metro’s regular 1-Day and 7-Day passes, which are being replaced with fare capping. Fare capping for Reduced Fare customers is even less and varies.
