The Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award represents the highest level of educational achievement one can earn in Toastmasters. To earn the DTM, you are required to fulfill several requirements, including completing two Pathways learning paths. Most Toastmasters are able to begin their DTM journey but have questions about afterwards. This webinar will go over what additional requirements are there and what the application process looks like.

If you have any questions, please email District 27 Director Jeanna Lee, DTM, at dd27@d27-tm.org.

Inspirational Message of the Month

Appreciate nature/recreation

Spring is my favorite time of year, and it has arrived! It is the time to get out and enjoy the beautiful things in nature that we can hear, see, and touch. The flowers are blooming, trees are growing new leaves, birds are chirping, bees are buzzing, the warm breeze brushes by soothing our soul, and the beautiful scenery is just spectacular. Take the opportunity to get out and appreciate nature. Schedule some time to really sit and appreciate it, allowing the experience to relieve stress, which can be used to improve your mood.

Visit a park, beach, or just a simple stroll around your own yard or neighborhood. Be intentional, listen for the birds chirping, or the sound of squirrels scurrying up and down a tree.

In a world of chaos, take some time to find peace through appreciating nature.

Seeking out opportunities that will bring you more joy than you could have ever imagined!

Sincerely,

Deborah Jones
