ABOUT THE EVENT

PBS KIDS Summer Adventure is just around the corner! This exciting, family-friendly event surrounds kids with engaging programs that make learning fun.


There will be activity booths, giveaways, science demonstrations, and FREE Screenings of some of your favorite PBS shows in the OMNI Theater and on the Science Stage. Plus, meet some of your favorite PBS KIDS friends!

WHERE AND WHEN

This event is FREE and open to the public. It will be held in the Lobby and Exhibit Hall of the Lubbock Science Spectrum on July 27, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We can’t wait to see you there!

Following public criticism of the city due to poor communication regarding changes to its sewer system bills and repairs, a citizens committee was formed. It is expected to present recommendations to Lubbock City Council on July 9.

We recently hosted a Free Family Movie Day at Lubbock Premiere Cinemas, featuring Nature Cat's Movie Special Extraordinaire! Follow us on social media to know about upcoming screening events.

Sherlock | All Seasons | Beginning June 30

The world’s only consulting detective, Sherlock Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch), teams up with his long-suffering, faithful friend, Dr. John Watson (Martin Freeman), to solve a dizzying array of crimes and battle diabolical villains with his signature deductive reasoning and his stunning lack of social grace.

Beginning Sunday, June 30th all four seasons of Sherlock, including The Abominable Bride, will be available to stream on Passport. The series is scheduled to rebroadcast later in 2024. Exact date TBD.
