We Are Here to Support Your Community

Dear Bridget,

Our hearts go out to all those who have been affected by this natural disaster. During these natural disasters, we know that many small business owners reach out to their local SCORE chapters across the country for support. We must ensure that our volunteers are equipped with the tools and resources they need to help our clients with disaster recovery and preparation.

With that in mind, SCORE Marketing has pushed an email to all chapters located in the state of Kentucky and surrounding chapters.  You can find this email in your Constant Contact account under drafts. This email is meant to be customized by each chapter and sent to the chapter’s Constant Contact distribution list.

Our small business community is hurting. It is important to communicate with them urgently, so they know that SCORE is here to support and guide them through this tough time.

We have also gathered additional resources that might be beneficial to the client during this time:

Information and Resources for the Kentucky Storms, Flooding, Landslides, and Mudslides

Top Tips for Helping Your Small Business Survive a Disaster or a Crisis

Help After a Natural Disaster Brochure

SBA Flood Preparedness Checklist with Recommendations for During and After a Flood

SBA Disaster Assistance and Loans

If the businesses you are supporting have not been affected by the storms, floods, mudslides, and landslides, but would benefit from preparing for their future, we encourage you to show them these resources:

Disaster Preparedness Resources

Disaster Recovery Kit Checklist

If you have additional questions on the resources provided or how to better use the resources to serve your community, please email
