A message from Stacey Olea, Shoreline Diversion Specialist
"I work for the Beth-El Center and on behalf of the Greater New Haven CANs and partner with community members such as the Women & Family Life Center. As a Shoreline Diversion Specialist, I can provide a shortcut to completing a CAN assessment (an assessment and referral process for people experiencing a housing crisis or homelessness) as well as offer resources from the shoreline communities besides calling 211 and can add those in need to the Connecticut shelter waitlist. You can find me at the Women and Family Life Center on Wednesdays from 9 am to 4 pm, where I can even offer walk-in assistance. On the days that I'm not at the Center, and you ever need my services, please let the staff at W&FLC know, and they will get a hold of me!"
