St. Peter's leadership, Presiding Bishop respond to
shooting
The leadership of St. Peter's, Gilbertsville, reports that the students of their parish are safe in the aftermath of yesterday morning's shooting at Marshall County High School. They ask for your prayers for the families of those killed and injured.
May the Lord comfort and protect them.
Presiding Bishop Curry sent a letter of support and noted that yesterday's meeting of Executive Council paused for prayer upon hearing of the shooting. Read his entire message here.

2nd Bishop's Ball & Lock-in hosted at St. Thomas
Youths and leaders from around the diocese convened at St. Thomas, Louisville, for the second annual Bishop's Ball & Lock-in over the weekend. The Rev. Becca Kello ordained at Christ Church, Bowling Green
The Rev. Becca Kello was ordained to the Sacred Order of Priests at Christ Church, Bowling Green, on Thurs
day, Jan. 18. She serves there as Associate Rector. Bishop Scott Mayer of the Diocese of Northwest Texas (the sponsoring diocese) was the ordaining bishop, and Bishop White celebrated the Eucharist. More photos are available

Congregational Leadership Conference scheduled for Feb. 17
Open to all vestry members, treasurers, stewardship chairs, clergy, audit committee members, and any other congregational leaders, the Congregational Leadership Conference is for those interested in an opportunity to share, discover, and learn the best practices for congregational health and growth. New ministry debuts at St. Matthew's
T
he Toy Library is a newly emerging ministry led by the children of St. Matthew's, Louisville. The new ministry is already open to the parish and will soon open to the 200-400 visitors to the church's monthly food pantry. Read more

Calvary to host Three Choirs festival
Calvary Episcopal Church is hosting the Louisville Three Choirs Festival at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28.
The choirs of Christ Church Cathedral and the Cathedral of the Assumption will join the Calvary Choir to present a concert of sacred music.

Celebrate World Mission Sunday on Feb. 11
Traditionally celebrated on the last Sunday after Epiphany, World Mission Sunday in 2018 is Feb. 11. Episcopal Church Presiding Bishop and Primate Michael B. Curry invites the church to observe World Mission Sunday in a video here.

2018 ECF Fellowship applications available
The application process for the 2018 Fellowship is currently open, and the application deadline is Friday, March 16, 2018.
Applicants to the Fellowship Partners Program must choose to apply to either the academic or ministry track of the ECF Fellowship Partners Program.
The 2018 Fellows will be announced by May 25, 2018.

Deadline nears for 2018 Roanridge Trust Award Grant
The deadline is fast approaching for applicants interested in the 2018 Roanridge Trust Award Grants. Apply by Jan. 31 for the grants, which range from $5,000-$20,000 and are
provided annually for creative models of leadership development, training and ministries in small towns and rural communities across the Episcopal Church. Applications and more details are available here.
