Because The Princess Bride is the "absolute best movie of all time," your pastor said so, we will be jumping off of scenes from the movie to talk about our faith.

9:15 am - Sunday School (2 adult classes to choose from)

• Perennials - Ladies' class studying the Adult Sunday School curriculum
• Couples' (but not all couples) class - Will begin a new study called Unoffendable based on the sermon series Righteous Anger.

10:30 am - Worship - The choir will sing and we will begin a new sermon series called Righteous Anger

11:30 am - Potluck Lunch - Back to Church BBQ with hamburgers and sides

Righteous Anger

This series is based on the book Unoffendable by Brant Hanson. This synopsis is from the back of his book - It turns out giving up your "right" to be offended can be one of the most freeing, healthy, simplifying, relaxing, refreshing, stress-relieving, encouraging things you can do. It's a radical, provocative idea: We're not entitled to get offended or stay angry. The idea of our own "righteous anger" is a myth. It is the number one problem in our societies today, but what if Christians were the most unoffendable people on the planet?

Disciple Bible Study

An Overview Study of the Entire Bible

Wednesdays - 6:15-6:45-Dinner, 6:45-8:15-Study

• Fall Semester (12 weeks) - Hebrew/Old Testament - Sept. 11-Dec. 4, Skip Nov. 27
• Spring Semester (12 weeks) - Greek/New Testament - Jan 29-May 7, Skip Mar. 5, Mar. 19, Apr. 16

Disciple Fast Track, an adaptation of the original, bestselling Disciple Bible Study, provides a viable option for you as a busy person who wishes to know your Bible better. You will read a manageable 3-5 chapters of the Bible daily in preparation for the weekly meetings, which will be led by Pastor Jana. Each session will begin with a brief, illustrated review video to enable you to recall important facts and ideas; lively and engaging video presenters then offer insights into the current week’s session. You will also have the opportunity to take a spiritual gifts assessment and determine meaningful ways you can serve and live out your discipleship commitment.

Eagle Mountain Elementary News

(Dido's Adopted School)

• As per every school year, the nurse needs new underwear, gently used T-shirts, elastic waisted shorts (boys), and leggings (girls) for all grades to replenish her supplies. Underwear and shorts for kindergarten are especially needed. Please place items in the worship or Fellowship Hall entryway.
• We are currently sending 30 snack packs per week to children in need of weekend meals.

Serve at Community Link on Dido's Volunteer Day

2nd Monday of Every Month

8:45 am - 1 pm (Come for an hour or stay the entire time)

Gather groceries and give them to guests

We continually collect items just inside the entrance to the Fellowship Hall and in the entryway to the Sanctuary. Please drop your items off and we will take them each week. Thank you in advance for your help!

Here are some of the items needed:

• Peanut Butter
• Pasta
• Rice
• Canned Green Beans
• Canned Fruit
• Beans(canned and dry)
• Spaghetti sauce
• Ramen Noodle
• Canned tomatoes
• Cereal
• Canned vegetables
• Mac n cheese
• Plastic shopping bags

Community Link Food Pantry

Gather groceries for those in need. Pick your days and times. They are open for volunteers: M-Th 9 am-2 pm, F 9 am-12
