Our hearts go out to all of those statewide impacted by Hurricane Laura.

We are grateful that both pregnancy resource centers in Lake Charles, ABC Pregnancy Resource Center and New Life Counseling Pregnancy Services, fared very well through Hurricane Laura! Trees and signs were down, but the buildings are in great shape. But we know so many people are hurting. Our prayers go out to everyone.

To help the Lake Charles community, we are collecting baby supplies and will be working with both centers to do a supply distribution to the community at large tentatively on Tuesday, Sept. 15. We are focusing on providing formula, diapers (especially size 4-6 and Pull-Ups), and water. For those in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Lafayette, we will be collecting supplies at locations. For those who would rather, and others across the state, you can make a donation directly to us, and we will purchase supplies. 100% of your donations to that effort will be spent to help provide baby supply relief to victims of Hurricane Laura.

We do understand more than just those in Lake Charles are hurting from Laura. I encourage you to reach out to pregnancy help centers statewide to offer your assistance to them. Find a center near you on our www.ADifficultChoice.com website.
