Reducing sign clutter helps keep Castle Rock beautiful

With the warmer weather, you might be planning a garage sale or an open house. But, before you place a sign, do you know the rules for signs in Castle Rock?


To help foster a sense of pride and to reduce clutter, the placement of signs in public rights of way or on Town property is prohibited. Signs placed in these areas will be removed and discarded. You can find more information about the Town's sign regulations at CRgov.com/Signs.


There are many great opportunities to promote your open house, business or garage sale. Signs placed on private property, with permission of the property owner, are allowed. Additionally, consider promoting your event on your community bulletin board, social media page or group.

  • This development is in partnership with the Douglas County Housing Partnership
