Developers seeking construction and/or permanent financing from NJHMFA are advised to work with HMFA staff to determine deadline dates for the remaining Board meetings. Developers are advised that if they target a Board meeting there is no guarantee that the project will be ready to advance to the HMFA Board meeting. Due to the volume of projects, there will be no exceptions granted for projects that have not satisfied the document checklist requirements for the Board Action they are seeking, and/or the project is not feasible. Please contact your assigned Credit Officer if you have any questions.
In addition, please note that the HMFA will be closing loans through December 15, 2023. All due diligence must be received by the assigned Paralegal no later than December 1, 2023 for the project to close this year. Starting in mid-November, Conduit closings will be scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with one conduit per day. Once a slot has been booked it will be unavailable for another project.
